Given global concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), I wanted to personally reach out and share the extra precautions that Lucas Cinemas is taking to keep our guests and employees safe and allow everyone to keep enjoying the movies.

We are carefully monitoring the recommendations of governmental health agencies, such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health organizations, and we have further elevated our stringent cleaning and sanitation protocol. Here are some examples of what we are doing:

Disinfecting contact surfaces throughout the theatre between every set, to include door handles, concession counters, seats, arm rests, handrails and faucets.

Enhancing deep cleaning every night in all auditoriums

Gloves made available to all concessionists.

Increasing the deployment of anti-bacterial soaps and as much hand sanitizers that is available within our theatres

Educating our staff on COVID-19 symptoms as well as preventative measures

Instructing employees to wash their hands properly and often as instructed by the CDC, which has been proven to be the most effective preventative measure

Recommending employees and guests that are not feeling well to stay home to prevent the spread of germs

As you may be also aware, several upcoming movies have been postponed over the past week due to COVID-19 cases. We continue to work with our film buyers and the studios to keep the content that is still available to us on screen. We will keep our website www.lucascinemas.com updated as changes are made. Updates will also be made to our Lucas Cinemas mobile app.
